ADEGA DE PALMELA WINES AWARDED IN INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS

In May, Adega de Palmela received gold and bronze medals in four international competitions, at the Concours Mondial des Vins Féminalise 2021, at the Frankfurt International Trophy 2021, at the Berliner Wine Trophy 2021 and at the IWC – International Wine Challenge

Frankfurt International Trophy 2021

At the Frankfurt International Trophy 2021, which brings together international experts, connoisseurs, sommeliers who taste and evaluate wines together, Adega de Palmela won three medals:
- two gold ones with Vale de Touros Vinhas Velhas Reserve 2017 and Adega de Palmela Grand Reserve 2017
- one silver with Vale dos Barris White 2020

Berliner Wine Trophy 2021

The Berliner Wine Trophy 2021 competition, one of the largest wine competitions in the world and the most relevant in Germany, which brings together renowned producers and distributors, awarded two gold medals to the wines:
- Vale dos Barris White 2020
- Vale dos Barris Syrah Premium Reserve 2017

IWC – International Wine Challenge

At the IWC – International Wine Challenge, the most rigorous and influential annual wine competition in England, Adega de Palmela received a bronze medal with Adega de Palmela Premium Reserve White Moscatel Roxo 2019.
And four recommendations with:
- Vale dos Barris White 2020
- Vale de Touros Vinhas Velhas Reserve 2017
- Vale dos Barris Syrah Premium Reserve 2017
- Adega de Palmela Premium Reserve Red 2017

ADEGA DE PALMELA LAUNCHES NEW VILLA PALMA WINE LABELS

Adega de Palmela presents new wine labels, Villa Palma DOC Palmela, an exclusive restaurant brand, with the signature of designer Alice Quina. The renewal of the Villa Palma wine labels is part of the brand's strategy, which aims to make the image of its wine products more premium and with details that tell its story.

The Villa Palma wine is a tribute to the beautiful Vila of Palmela, also known by many as "Mother Land of Wines". The Palmela Castle, located in the Peninsula de Setúbal, is implemented in a sumptuous hill in Arrábida near the Sado River and not far from the Tejo River. However, due to its strategic and economic importance, the ancient village of Palmela was Romanized by a Magistrate of the Lusitania called Cornélio Palma, one of the key influencers of wine and vineyard culture in the region.

ADEGA DE PALMELA WINERY AT THE INTERNATIONAL WINEMAKING COMPETITION - CITTÀ DEL VINO

The International Wine Competition - Cittá del Vino was born in 2001 and represents what would be the Mayor's choice of wines, in order to improve the quality of local wine production.

Today, it rewards the wines, but also the place where companies operate.

In this competition, Adega de Palmela won a Great Gold Medal with Adega de Palmela Moscatel de Setúbal, 10 years old.

As well as Gold Medal with Adega de Palmela Premium Reserva Moscatel Galego Roxo 2019 wine.
